What FreedomFest Stands For
FreedomFest is for the independent mind and spirit who chooses to be alive. We detest Authoritarianism in all of its forms and seek unequivocal liberty for all. We believe in the pursuit of knowledge, diversity of ideas, human flourishing for all, fraternity with all, toleration for those we disagree with, and aspire for a life well and fully lived, a life of meaning and purpose in the service of goals, ends, and values worth serving. FreedomFest, at its core, is the embodiment of the Liberty Lifestyle.
The Story of FreedomFest 2023
- We look to the past as we present the foundation of liberty and why independence matters in our Why Freedom category.
- We focus on the present political and cultural landscape with The Trends category and Human Expression category consisting of Punching Up Comedy Festival, Anthem Film Festival, Defiance Music Festival, and The SPARK Arts Show.
- We seek a future of greater freedom for ourselves and society through our Global Financial Summit, Eureka Summit, and Subversion Summit.
- We’re proud to highlight our Wilder Initiative, in honor of Rose Wilder Lane, which is our pledge to highlight women’s voices in the liberty movement in our programming.
