Don't Miss the
8 Great Debates in '08

Dear Friends,

Several months ago, Steve Forbes agreed to be one of our keynote speakers at FreedomFest, and his secretary Jackie called to arrange his travel schedule.  She said that his time was very limited, and that he would need to fly into Las Vegas in the morning, give his talk, sign a few books, and then fly back to New York in the afternoon.  Typical of big-name celebrities.

I asked his secretary, “Wouldn’t Mr. Forbes like to stick around and enjoy some of the conference?”

She dismissed the idea.  “Sorry, that won’t be possible.  Mr. Forbes’s schedule is very tight.”

But last week his secretary called to change his travel plans.  She said, “Mr. Forbes has looked at your FreedomFest program and is so excited about the speakers and debates that he's decided to attend the entire three-day event!”

Steve Forbes really caught the spirit of FreedomFest.  We've decided to have him be the speaker on Saturday night to present the first inductees of the Free Market Hall of Fame.

We are expecting a sell out crowd this year (over 1200 people), so if you want to come, now is the time to sign up before our room block ($97 a night) fills up.

All the best, AEIOU,

Mark Skousen

"I feel an electricity here I have not felt in years."    – Nathaniel Branden

Dear friends of liberty every where,

For the past six months, my staff and I have worked overtime to put together the best FreedomFest ever!  Vegas will never be the same.  I urge you to join me this year for the most exciting three days of networking, celebrating, and profiting.

Here’s what we’ve planned for this year’s extravaganza:  Three conferences in one!

 WORLD ECONOMIC SUMMIT
(Top economists & geo-political experts)

First, we're organizing a free-market alternative to the global central planners and their corporate sycophants who meet annually at Davos, Switzerland.  Our speakers are much better than Bill Gates and Al Gore!

  • Steve Forbes on "Gold, the Dollar, and The Growing Financial Crisis."

  • John Mackey, CEO, Whole Foods Market, on "Conscious Capitalism:  A Better Way for Bill Gates to Solve the World’s Problems.”

  • Charles Murray, American Enterprise Institute, author of "Losing Ground“ and "Human Accomplishment” on:  “There's Too Many Kids in College!”

  • Larry Abraham (Insider Report), Robert Hsu (Asia Edge), and Captain Jim Green (former Naval officer; retired pilot, Continental Airlines) on “China:  Friend for Foe?”

 “A world-class event, the best I’ve ever attended.”--Alex Green, chairman, Investment U

 SKOUSEN'S CAFE

Second, FreedomFest will also host our 3-day private investment conference called Skousen CAFÉ (Center for Applied Finance & Economics).  Our featured speaker is:

  •  Jeremy Siegel, “The Wizard of Wharton” and author of the bestseller “Stocks for the Long Run” who predicted the top of Nasdaq almost to the day in March, 2000.  He is making a rare appearance on the topic, “Future Shock:  My Most Shocking Surprise in 50 Years on Wall Street.”
